hi Mike,

I have had the same pb because there's not a complete JFFS image at this time...

After established the PPP Link, you have to install openssh
(ftp://familiar.handhelds.org/pub/apps/openssh/) ipkg or ssh. You have a very
good HOWTO in the openssh tar ballInstall before the
:ftp://familiar.handhelds.org/pub/linux/dists/familiar/releases/v0.5/packages/armv4l/z_0.1_arm.ipk

and the
ftp://familiar.handhelds.org/pub/linux/dists/familiar/releases/v0.5/packages/armv4l/zlib1g_1.1.3-14_arm.ipk

packages.

after that you may hace ipaq access through ssh :
% ssh my_ipaq-IP -l root

In order to end the iPAQ v5.0 installation (by ipkg install task-complete), you
have to have a web connection on the IPAQ. Follow the IPMASKHowto at
http://www.handhelds.org:8080/wiki/IPMasqHowto
What I have done to gain time is to install a web server on my PC with all ipaq
packages available on my web server and modify in the iPAQ the /etc/ipkg.conf in
order to find the iPAQ package at my Web URL :-)
I have had also time to enable IP masqueradinbg after...

May this help you;
cheers

Pat
