Yeah, that sounds great, I was mostly thinking just open one big
xterm/xscribble that took up the entire screen. This seems more useful
though. It would be cool if it could then display the character modifiers
(this what you meant by OCR?) in one of the corners of the screen
(specified on the command line). The upper right seems like the best
place to put this... but I'm sure other people have differing opinions,
therefore the command line switch.
