[iPAQ] fragile iPaq battery

I have broken TWO iPaq batteries by simply attaching and detaching them
with the unit off (i.e. with the little switch in the off position)

After the break the batteries refuse to recharge.
Incidentally, the unit can run without batteries by plugging the unit
to the power supply and detaching the battery.

I detached and attached battery no more than five times to check certain
hardware parameters. It was enough to break two iPaqs. :-(

Again, I think this battery/connector type has been a bad choice by the side
of Compaq.
BTW, connectors inside iPaq are very dangerous to detach and attach but the
one in the battery pack is fatal.

Moral: dont do that !
