Hello Brain;

Yes.

Jamey, Dirk and myself are working on various aspects of restoring WinCE
(PocketPC).

We believe that we have a method to save the WinCE bits. We know that the
boot loader writes bits to flash very well. Since units are very scarce, we
did not want test the save/restore programs before Mobicom or LWE. In the
next few days, we will be testing the restore process. If we should crash a
unit, it is a major task to solder test wires to the unit for JTAG or to
unsolder the flash chips for reprogramming. If you would like take a quick
look, there is a program called osloader in the v0.12 directory at the ftp
site. This program has a menu options to save WinCE from flash. You can then
download the files to your desktop machine. We do not know if this program
makes a correct copy of what is in flash. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

It is because there is no USB driver for the boot loader at this time.
