To the List:

I know you folks are busy with the kernel ... If you folks need someone
to keep the FAQ's up to date, I would be happy to do it ... I keep
seeing the same questions over and over ...

It's just that I am sitting here, breath held, hoping you guys don't
overload yourselves and keep on going ...

BTW: I am currently working on a very light weight GUI for the iPAQ
(uses only Xlib) that looks and feels very much like the Palm's GUI - I
will be contributing as soon as I can get my hands on a 3650 and do the
final testing/tweaking (my test apps are an address book and calendar -
and so far, each app, statically linked to my GUI, is less that 50k
stripped)

Also, I am working on a scripting language (BASIC or Java Script like
syntax - not decided) to go with the GUI - But, I would like to know if
anyone is interested in this ?

and one more thing, can anyone confirm work being done on a simple
window manager ? - (maybe something with a couple of "sliding" bars -
hit the button, and the bars would "slide" out from the sides.)

You are doing an outstanding job - Thank you !

Scott Parrish

P.S. please let me know about the FAQ's - I would be happy to keep them
up ... I own a ISP in Austin, have, and can contribute, bandwidth, HD
space, etc. to the project.
