Installation is separate from running Linux. The USB networking work that
Charlie is doing will allow Linux to connect to a PC using USB as the link
layer of the network. Getting the boot loader to talk USB is a separate
project, and probably involves writing new USB drivers for that environment.

We hope that serial cables (and cradles) will be available soon, to avoid
having to hack the USB cradles. We (research) are doing everything we can to
speed this up.
