Only a single byte event is transmitted by the Atmel, this contains information for
only 1 button - Button number (1-?) and Button state (UP or DOWN). I originally
though the Atmel would send two events in sequence if more than one button was
pressed simultaneously but the test I did seemed to prove otherwise.

There is more information in the code key_read.c in the h3600_test CVS directory.
