Justin,
I ran into this while doing an install in our LinuxWorld Expo booth
yesterday.
This is a symptom of the bootldr not recognizing the flash parts on the
handheld. In the v0.13 directory are bootldr-0000-2.9.0 and
bootldr-c002-2.9.0 that will work with these flash parts. The bootldr uses
Common Flash Interface to query the flash, but it's not very general about
handling different parts.

Subject: [iPAQ] Trouble installing 'bootldr'
I've been trying to install Linux on an iPAQ, however I'm having issues with
the download process.
I'm using HyperTerminal in windows to download bootldr.
Here's a session log:
boot> load bootldr
loading flash region bootldr
using xmodem
ready for xmodem download..
Download Successful
0000DF00 bytes loaded to C0000400
img_size is too large for region: E91BAC00
The xmodem transfer is started within a second of pressing enter for the
load command, so I don't think that the problem is the timeout people have
seen before.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Justin Seger
