From memory this spec does not address the s/w issues.

The hooks for a sensor are in place but presently not connected. It should only
take a few hours If nobody else beats me to it I should get around to it soon.

For anybody interested the sensor is a response to a command. This command is
formatted exactly like the backlight commands . The source for which is found
at:

Once the hook is in place you will be able to read the light sensor data using
the back light command.
To do this you set the mode parameter to 3, issue the command and you will get
a single byte returned.
This byte ( I assume ) is the light sensor data (0-255) which you can use to
control the back light. I havn't tested it works yet though!.

You will need the modified ts driver installed (h3650_ts.c).
