I have used the Socket CF Ethernet driver and the CF IBM Micro drive in my
iPAQ without any problems.

We have not done any power management work except for the screen saver.
After we are certain that all the low level drivers work, then we will work

The light sensor does work but we have not done anything with it in Linux.
If you would like to write an interface for the light sensor the specs are
at http://www.handhelds.org/Compaq/iPAQH3600/iPAQ_H3600.html

In theory yes, but I do not believe that anybody has tried.

I would look at the www.linuxce.org site. They have done similar things with
other PDA's.

I hope this helps.
