Unfortunately, Markoff got this wrong: someone leaked a draft of the press
release I hadn't yet had time to vet that had words I had not drafted,
so John was mistaken for a good reason. The final press release reflects
reality.
We do have our first Gnome application running (gqmpeg) and 10 of the
12 core libraries, and various of the Gnome folks really want to get moving
on the iPAQ.
We'll see what happens as the interest in Linux on iPAQ continues to grow.
