[iPAQ] Problems with xmodem

I'm following the instructions to install Linux and got minicom running
and talking to the boot loader. I type 'load bootldr', get sx to download
the bootldr-0000-2.8.4 file. The Minicom/sx window shows the 55k going and
reports a succesful transfer. I press a key to return to the main Minicom
window and the iPAQ fails to say "verifying...done" or anything else at
all. Pressing return brings up the "boot>" prompt again. The flash has not
been written, as if the 'load' has bombed out.

Has anyone else had a similar problem or can offer any advice?
