I was thinking of buying a digital camera.. the one down side of the camera
market is all the different competing and usally expensive storage media...
I was wondering if one could use the IPAQ with a IBM microdrive or some
other external device as a convenient way to download images from a camera
via a USB/Serial link....
The ideal situation would be one where I could go hiking or traveling
abroad with a digital camera and an IPAQ for secondary storage so I don't
have to worry about running out of storage space or paying $100+ for 32MB of
flash storage for a digital camera....
Of course the question is will this be cost effective? and can I do this
already with WinCE.... if not this sounds like a cool killer app for the
IPAQ one could build quite a nice interface for mucking with digital images
while on the go...
