We aren't really sure how long it will last on batteries at the moment...

Jamey's had it run 6-8 hours, front light off, but screen on.
(I need to get the screen saver implemented in X; I might in the next
couple days if I've made progress on the applications crashing bug
(and when it is twm that fails you, it is really painful)).

There is also alot of other power management work to be done which hasn't
been yet.
