hmmm, I thought the ipaq was rated at 12 hours battery life.
I assume that's with *no* backlight use. I notice the backlight
does suck the ol' juice (though not unreasonably so).
maybe you could get a flight that has laptop power...
ooh ooh, get a really small capacity UPS and carry it on...
