Depending upon how many weeks have passed since you last tried it, then
things might have changed... but as far as we know, it should all still
work...

I have have seen my iPAQ boot up funny (just as you describe) a couple
of times... (I think it was happening after i changed the params file) ,
but i never worked out what was going wrong... A reset always fixed it
before i could get in to debug the problem.

You could have a go with the files from
http;//intimate.handhelds.org/h3800/ ... Those are the very latest
ones... They also feature the new 'dialog' based installer. (Use
touchscreen + cursors to steer the install process)
