Someone's working on unencrypted SD access (but not for bootloader yet).
Since the hardware for SD is slightly better than MMC, it might be a
viable alternative. Also, SD supposedly is going to get to 1024MB by
this fall (been pushed back quite a bit from original estimates), and
4GB someday way down the line.
