It's certainly possible, but I suspect it would be a hell of a lot of
work. To be honest I would think what you really want is to use
Familiar, with Intimate installed on the disk, then when you want to use
the power stuff, open a terminal, shove the disk in, mount it and chroot
to it.
Personally, I think Intimate will become most useful if/when bootldr
learns to boot from an MMC card, and when MMC cards get usefully large,
that way you could keep all the Intimate/Debian stuff inside the iPAQ
(on newer models at least). I'm not really sure if MMC is up to the task
though, it's a very very weak storage system.
