Jim,
Thanks for the reply. I already purchased a $50 dual CF sleeve for the
iPAQ along with a used 256 MB 24x CF card for $60. So far I sucessfully
loaded Opie and Familiar. I then restored Windows PocketPC. All this
was sucessful, so now it's time to experiment further. One caution to
others who go through this process: Be sure to copy any notes you may
have in the iPAQ's internal storage. They don't get backed up using
Microsoft's Active Sync backup utility.
A new question also...
The fonts on the Familiar keyboard and the terminal / console aren't the
greatest. In fact they are darn hard to read. Is there a solution? Do
the true type fonts fix this?
Best regards,
Jim
