It's not dead, it's just resting ;)

Seriously though, development on Intimate has effectively halted - we
badly need some more people to pitch in and kick start it again. There
is particular need of people willing to package some stuff up (like the
X server package we have is positively ancient).

If you have some spare time and some debian skills, please consider
helping out :)
