Hi,
I'm having problems connecting a CF card GPS dongle to the hx4700.
With Familiar it just worked, using /dev/ttyS4, but with Angstrom the
card wasn't detected.
I've downloaded the hh kernel sources from CVS and built a 2.6.21-hh20
kernel with the serial_cs module, and also tried enabling
SERIAL_8250_EXTENDED with all the sub options, but tool the card
connects to /dev/ttyS0, and the logs show a warning about shared IRQ's
not being handled properly "need to upgrade driver".
I've also tried enabling and disabling SERIAL_PXA_CONSOLE, but it makes
no difference.
The card definitely connects to /dev/ttyS0, as cat /dev/ttyS0 gives an
error when the card is not plugged, and gives nothing when the card is
plugged.
/dev/ttyS0, S1 S2 and S3 exist, is there a way to connect the card to
/dev/ttyS3 ? Alternatively, if there's a config file for the old
2.6.15-hh1-ipaq-pxa270 kernel anywhere I could try building with that?
Angstrom seems to run very well on the hx, so going back to Familiar
(with navpoint problems, etc) isn't much of a solution.
tia for any help,
Graham
