Hi everyone,

I just started trying linux on my hx4700 and i managed to install
familiar. But I am actually interested in booting from an SD or CF card.
I downloaded and flashed the patched SDG bootloader which allows to get
a menu and I actually edited the menu.lst from kmeaw pages. But in fact
the only kernel I am able to boot is the one I originally flashed with
familiar on the internal flash. So, no matter what I write in the
menu.lst, the only kernel that boots is the onboard one. Any other entry
returns "not found" error.

I ask then you: is there a possibility to boot a kernel installed in a
SD or CF card? If so, how and what to write in the menu.lst? I tried
modified the "kernel" entry of the menu.lst but i was in no way successful

:)

Thanks,
Albes
