Hi Nick,
I actually got the same thing. What I did was I moved all the data off of
the SD card and reformatted it. Then I extracted the zip onto my PC and
transferred the files to the hx4700 via USB. That seemed to work for me.
I used a PNY 1GB and a SanDisk 1GB and both worked nicely.
Now that I think about it. If you had your GPS software installed on SD or
CF you should be able to reboot and just run the programs right from the
memory card and start using it again without a hitch.
