A bit left out on this post. If you want to
repartition/reformat you can either put it in a camera
and format it there or you can download a live linux
cd such as knoppix ( www.knoppix.org ) burn it to a cd
(make sure you burn it as an image, not just drag and
drop ) boot your windows comp with the car reader from
the CD and access it that way. Then use fdisk and
mkdosfs on it to partition/format it respectively.
Just make absolutely sure that you are partitioning
and formatting the right dev file. It helps to boot
the linux cd then open a terminal stick in your SD
card and issue the following: "dmesg | tail" at the
command prompt. There should be some mention of the sd
card and what dev file it is using.Hope this helps.
