Hi Lex,
I tried to follow the steps of copying the 3 files to lib/firmware/
directory, but even after a reboot, only the WIFI icon shows up on the
bottom of my screen and shows the following info:
wlan0:
mode: Managed
ESSID: STADCEDA9
Quality: 0%
Level: 0dbm
Noise: 0dBm
In the Network Settings I have the following setup:
Interface wlan0
Static
Address: 192.168.2.101
Netmask: 255.255.255.0
Brodacast: hp (I'm not sure what this is for? Is this the name of the
router or PDA?)
Gateway: 192.168.2.1
WiFi device (checked marked)
Under WiFi config tab:
ESSID: STADCEDA9 (I'm not sure what this is for? Is this the ID of the
PDA or my Router?)
Mode: Managed
Channel: 6
WEP: off
Key 1-3 are blank
Please let me know what I have to do or change. This is driving me
crazy!
I also have a Spectec miniSD 802.11b WiFi card and a Linksys WCF11
Compact Flash WiFi card. If anyone can tell me how to get the other 2
cards to work, that will be OK as well.
Thanks,
Van
