Hi,

Distribution: familiar-0.8.4-rc3 (OPIE)
Kernel: 2.6.15-hh2

I'm trying to use Siemens S45 cellular phone as a GPRS modem via IrDA.

Before bringing up pppd i have to ensure that cell ir port is recognized
by ipaq.
When I put ir leds opposite each other and

cat /proc/net/irda/discovery

it gives:
IrLMP: Discovery log:

and nothing.

It happens regardless whether "irattach /dev/tts/2" issued or not.
Related modules are loaded:
irtty-sir
sir-dev
ircomm
irda
crc-ccitt

"cat /dev/tts/2" and "cat /dev/ircomm0" gives nothing when I transmit some
garbage from the phone.

This is not hardware, because when i played with WindowsMobile2003
everything worked ok.

Please, give me some idea.

P.S.
Maybe i need to install irdadump? Then where can i get precompiled binary
for pxa270?
