WiFi would work on the hx4700, if you use a supported
CompactFlash or SDIO card. The built-in WiFi is not (yet) supported,
although there are people working on porting the existing ACX100
drivers (intended for CompactFlash cards) over to the build-in ACX100
chipset (which uses different communications methods, such as DMA).

It may be easier for you to go down the list of well-supported
hardware and find a device where everything works, and then see if
you can track one down via eBay or other online auction, as opposed
to waiting for the built-in WiFi stuff to be fixed.

Of course, if you were willing and able to help with the porting
of the ACX100 driver, I'm sure that would be greatly appreciated by
all.
