Hi

  I did a
  cvs checkout -d 2.6.11-hh2 linux/kernel

and it made a dir 2.6.11-hh2/. To compile, I went in this dir and did

  make hx4700_defconfig

  but it gives me error

  /bin/sh: arm-linux-gcc: command not found
make: *** No rule to make target `hx4700_defconfig'. Stop.

Why is it looking for arm-linux-gcc ? Do I have wrong src code ?

I know I am missing something basic here. Your help will save me lot of time !!
