Hi!

I've built another experimental GPE image [1] from yesterday's (20051117)
org.openembedded.dev branch, ignoring all PREFERRED_VERSIONs.

During the first boot [2], I had the same old problem: I set
init=/bin/sh and started the scripts in /etc/rcS.d by hand. After
S04udev start /dev/mtdblock3 & /dev/fb0 and some other device nodes
were missing. Calling udevstart again later in the boot process fixed
this.
Also, just rebooting [3] seemed to help, too! During the second boot,
after S04udev all device nodes were in place.

Missing:
- an nls_iso8859-1.ko module to mount vfat partitions without fuss and
- couldn't figure out how to let pcmciautils create a block device for
my cf card.

I think I have fixed those. I'm not sure if we should push this into oe or set
PREFERRED_VERSION_handhelds-pxa-2.6=2.6.12-hh3 for the time being?
The missing usb gadgets in 2.6.13 are a problem.

I'm clueless here, as stated above.

Still the case? I'll look at this and make a patch. Btw, what do you
think about adding this patch to OE?

I worked around this by assigning the "long" power button press to apm
-s in /etc/keylaunchrc. Somebody please fix keylaunch.
