        If you search the archives of the list, you will note some other
recent messages on the same subject. See
<http://www.handhelds.org/hypermail/hx4700-port/current/1015.html>
and
<http://www.handhelds.org/hypermail/hx4700-port/current/1020.html>.
In short, it's not done yet.

        I would like to take this opportunity to mention that I bought an
hx4700 today, with the intention of loaning it to a friend of mine
who is a Linux kernel hacker and has been involved in the development
and support of a number of other WiFi drivers. I hope to be shipping
that out to him tomorrow or early Friday, and then he'll have some
time to hack on it before I will be in a position to ask for it back.
With luck, we may be able to get him to also help with some of the
other drivers that are not yet finished.

        I will refrain from saying anything further on the subject,
however. I'll let him introduce himself, if he feels that is
appropriate.
