Hi,
So that would mean now I would either have to get a hold of a toolchain
that is built with softfloat and then recompile my the kernel images
with the this toolchain and then try my program .
Are those the steps that are needed to be taken .
Is there a soft-float toolchain that I can grab from somewhere or am I
at the mercy of compiling my own ?
Thanks for the input.

The current images use the hardfpa floatingpoint format which is
incompatible with iwmmx. You'll need to have a softvfp image to have any
chance to get iwmmx working.
