Yes! I added /dev/mem to our initrd as well as a statically compiled
devmem2 executable. We don't have any glibc in our initrd. It was a 5MB
file, but after stripping, only 400K were left fortunately.

I did find THE "HTC-SDIO P /N" string at 0x0800 (half of 0x1000). 2
conclusions:

    * Aric was right. All the offsets have to be divided by 2.
    * Unless I didn't use HaRET in a correct way or made mistakes in the
      addresses I gave it, our version of HaRET does not dump physical
      address space properly.

    By the way, it's cool: we know how a way to read and write from and
to physical addresses from our Linux shell.
