I just tried out your kernel and image and it worked perfect for me (I am using a Sandisk 256MB CF Card).
I am by no means a good developer but in my research I have found a driver we may be able to base the WIFI driver off of. It is the acx100 driver ( http://rhlx01.fht-esslingen.de/~andi/acx100). Currently it supports the SWL-2300P WLAN card (2495 have SWL-2350) for Cardbus only. Obviously we would have to code a CF version of it but it may be somewhere we can start.
