hello nameless

your best start is the readme.txt file at
http://projects.o-hand.com/hx2750/ provided by richard purdie.

the image from the location mentioned above is known to work with
compact flash cards. i do not know of anyone who tried to boot the image
from a mmc card. i am using a sd card to boot my device. mmc support in
the kernel should work as well or better as sd card support.
you can also try the image from http://nw.distl.net/hx2410 (download the
tar.gz and extract it to your card - the same instructions from the
readme.txt apply)

the haret bootloader is a wince application, so you don't have to
reflash (see readme.txt). the serial cable comes in handy if your device
doesn't boot straight into gpe but stops at a certain point. it is not
necessary for normal operation.

let us know if it works....
