i am working with a hx2410 which i boot from a sd card. i had to modify
some of the config files from the initrd to get the sd card booting. i
did that some time ago so i don't remember exactly what i had to do. i
don't have access to my workstation at the moment but i will look that
up as soon as possible. cf card boots, however, worked out of the box
for me with the mentioned image.

i sometimes also experienced hangs when booting a "fresh" image but
usually that went away at the second or third try.
