If you want to go that route, please do me a favour and do it like that:

DISTRO = "angstrom-opie"
require conf/distro/angstrom-2007.03

Then only add the stuff that Opie needs to overwrite / enhance compared
to the original Angstrom. This will make the route to integrating Opie
into Angstrom much easier. And believe me, if users demand it, we _will_
get Opie back in Angstrom. I agree with Koen though that it has to be
clean and solid. I don't have anything against Opie in Angstrom per se
(of course not, how could I... It's my baby... sniff) -- however I don't
want to see all the confusion with X and non-X packages we've seen in
Familiar and OpenZaurus reappearing in Angstrom.
