In the BlueAngel you can use gomunicator as phone app in GPE:

AFAIK lkcl started a port of gomunicator to qt which also has code from
qtiax and libgnokii, but he did not finish it:

Has anybody started to split the backend out into a library and/or
tried make it configurable for the different phone's needs (framing,
special commands, etc.)?
