gpsd and qpegps

Hello.
As we are starting to get quite good linux port allready i have
started to play around with Opie and Gpe.
In GPE i have tried to run gpsdrive with success, and maps where
dowloaded over wlan ( they even had maps for the half-island i live on
here in Norway ).
But i have also tried to run qpegps in Opie, but it refuse to connect
to my BT GPS.
Both the GPSD and qpegps is build with OE/bitbake using the dev
branch, and someone at irc (#OE) told me that the guys at qpegps team
did not updated to new API of gpsd iirc.
I have tried to run the one available from gpegps, also the provided
qpegps, but it refuse to start on my HTC universal.

Has someone here tip for me how i can get qpegps to run ??
