Re: HaRET 0.4.7 - Acer n30

Hi, (Sorry if this message goes in the wrong place on the mailing list)

I can run HaRET 0.4.7 on my Acer n30 PDA. The kernel
(2.6.14) loads and the framebuffer for it appears (along with the penguin
logo in the kernel) and shows what is going on (and of course panicing as it
can't find an initrd because there isn't one loaded). The only problem I have
is when the kernel starts and until I switch the PDA off what I get from
the speaker is continous loud screeching.

(I also tried 2.6.19.2, the kernel loads but the screen remains garbled (but
no loud screeching), even with the framebuffer support enabled, but I think
that's for another mailing list as I think it's something to do with the
kernel code.)
