I'd suggest you try downloading it again.

wrap-haret should not be needed.

FYI: The bootgpe tarball you have is also larger than the one
I have on file, which probably suggests that the one I have
is from the initial release, which had a "corrupt" kernel.
I suspect yours is OK.
