If you're right, you have the exact same setup as in the Mio Mitac A701. This
device has a wm9713 connected to the pxa270, and handles through the wm9713
sound, touchscreen and battery monitoring.

For the pxa270, the wm9713 reset was broken, perhaps you'll get more lucky.
If you wish, I kept my investigation on the mio here :
http://belgarath.falguerolles.org/download/mio_a701/docs/observations/sound
http://belgarath.falguerolles.org/download/mio_a701/docs/observations/battery/

and of course the documentation :
http://belgarath.falguerolles.org/download/mio_a701/docs/Documentation/Documentation/AudioTouchscreen

Hope this can help you a bit. I you get through the same experience as I did,
you'll have the most trouble to figure out the electrical connections between
sound elements (GSM lines, mics, ...) and wm9713 chip.

For the sound part, you can have a peek at my dev git :
http://belgarath.falguerolles.org/git/mioa701-dev.git, commit 85ad507495116efaaa43f519e5de5edee136b506, the sound/soc part.

My apologies to the haret team, this is fully out of topic. I won't continue on
that thread.
