change of status

Hello Everyone,

My contract with Compaq Computer Corporation has expired. I have enjoyed
working at the Cambridge Research Lab (CRL) on handhelds.org and many other
projects. CRL is a great environment. I have been fortunate to work with a
great team (Jamey Hicks, Jim Gettys, Frank Bomba and many others).

CRL has been kind enough to grant me status as an Honorary Researcher
(volunteer) until December 2000. I will be at CRL substantially the next few
weeks to finish some projects, tie up loose ends and make sure nothing falls
through the cracks.

I would like to thank everyone at Compaq Computer Corporation that has made
possible Linux on the iPAQ H36xx and handhelds.org.

As my time allows, in the future, I plan to continue to be active at
handhelds.org. france@handhelds.org
