Building in CF would mean that other expansion packs could not be build:
I prefer the current expansion packs myself (e.g. we have running PCMCIA
802.11b cards at this point).
As far as buttons go, we are aware of the problem. Dunno if it can/will
be fixed in the current models, but I'm sure we won't make that design
choice again.
A number of the buttons are resolvable independently (allowing simultaneous
pressing) with any other buttons. These include:
The center of the joypad
the record button,
The on-off button.
We just got these implemented in Linux on the iPAQ properly.
