Bootloader flash problem

I think I may have tracked down the problem with the bootloader not
recognizing the flash type.

I tried setting the flash area to be non cachable and my Assabet was
able to identify the flash chips correctly.

I haven't tried writing a kernel to flash yet as I still can't get
XMODEM to work.
