help regarding keyboard

 Hi,
 
         I downloaded xscribble.tgz from the net. But i do not know how to
 integrate that with X and how to use it.
 I want to test that on host machine (computer) . So please suggest how to
 use xscribble for typing into a keyboard .How to make it work with X.
