You are right... The Poweroff button should just be another keyboard
key, IMHO.
So the answer is: because I haven't yet tried to figure out how the power
button gets signalled to the operating system yet... So it is on the 'To
Do' list, but not yet done.... It didn't jump out at me when I was doing
the initial X port.
A bit more fundamental problems like the screen saver are taking my time
at the moment...
So you're getting ahead of me :-).
