toolchain and shared library questions

Hi,

What is the latest toolchain for familiar development?

I found one (gcc 3.3.2 and glibc 2.3.2) on the handhelds.org ftp site, with
both prebuilt binaries, sources and script to build it.

Another question, I found that the shared libraries in the familiar 0.8.2
rootfs of version 2.3.3. It doesn't seem to match the toolchain mentioned
above. I would like to get the source of the library for debugging purposes.
Can anyone point me to the source of the toolchain with glibc 2.3.3 or can I
simply replace the shared libraries with 2.3.2 version by copying from the
above toolchain?
