gui apps on ipaq?

Hi,

Is there a more detailed info on developing gui stuff for the ipaqs besides http://www.handhelds.org/minihowto/building-x-clients.html? Can you use glade and compile on the skiff cluster? What's the best way? Please give me some pointers.
