Inclement weather...

Note that many of us on the north east coast of the U.S. are likely to
be scarce the next number of days, due to the north-easter (blizzard)
taking aim at us all right now. They are currently comparing this to
the Blizzard of '78, and predicting 20"-36"+ of snow (.5-1.0+ meters),
and high winds (to hurricane strength).

The state of Massachusetts has declared a state of emergency, and everyone
is being urged to stay at home. The storm is supposed to last until Wednesday
morning.

So while some of us may be around on the net from home, many of us will
not be, and if experience is any guide, it may be a number of days before
we get dug out, have power and communications services.

Note that the handhelds.org machine lives in (usually sunny, currenly soggy)
beautiful Palo Alto, California, and unless there is another earthquake or more
California power shortages, should continue on just fine while some of us
get clobbered.
