Do you mean that burn cramfs into flash, and uncompress to memory??
There are 32Mb SDRAM/ 32Mb flash memory in assabet board.

I got some confuse about flash memory.? Are you mount flash as you root
file system just like a hd block driver??
Is it possible to put kernel and rootfs.gz to flash memory and unpack
kernel
to memory at boot time, then uncompress/mount rootfs.gz on flash for our
basic file system ,likes /usr /lib ...etc???
